The Military Medical Academy, VMA

The beginning of Tarkett flooring and wall coverings installation at the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade dates back to more than 10 years ago, more precisely to the year of 2010. The installation was carried out on several occasions, while the flooring and wall coverings were chosen with special care in order to meet the very specific requirements of each individual ward.

Since 2010, the floors in this renowned building have been exposed to heavy traffic of people and equipment (patients, staff, wheelchairs ...). In the photos attached to this text you can see what Tarkett flooring looks like after ten years of use and proper maintenance.

 “Choosing from Tarkett’s diverse offer, the Military Medical Academy opted for installation of several flooring types (iQ Megalit, iQ Granit, iQ Optima, iQ Toro SC) and wall coverings (Wallgard). The mentioned flooring and wall coverings were installed in the premises serving various purposes, such as: doctor’s offices, dispensaries, operating rooms, laboratories, offices, halls, diagnostic rooms, premises housing medical equipment (CT, RTG...)

We were also provided detailed instructions on maintenance of the flooring and wall coverings upon their installation. 

Having in mind the period since installation, namely the period of exploiting Tarkett flooring and wall coverings at the Military Medical Academy facility, we can say that we are satisfied with all types of the installed flooring and wall coverings as they have met our requirements and expectations, both in regard of their durability and quality, and in regard of easy maintenance. We are also satisfied with a long-term successful cooperation with Tarkett company from Bačka Palanka.”
The Military Medical Academy

The VMA is a high-class medical, educational as well as scientific and research institution with an internationally recognized reputation. It is a so-called “central type” military hospital  where a board of medical experts can be formed in ten minutes for any type of intervention. It was founded in 1844, while Medical Faculty at the VMA University of Defence, educating future generations of military doctors, was founded in 2009. The VMA is also known as a centre of significant scientific and research activities. It operates within Ministry of Defence and owing to its military organization and its devoted employees, it is recognized and has been awarded as medical institution organized in line with the highest world standards.
