How to maintain laminate?

Today's modern floor coverings are products which serve a function, are cost-effective to own and have the best long-term performances.
The surface of Tarkett laminate boards prevents the growth of germs and bacteria. The well-sealed surface is stain resistant, and the strong locking system prevents dust and dirt fromm penetreating into the joints.

Clean your laminate floor regularly using a microfiber cloth or a vacuum cleaner. If necessary, wipe the floor with a slightly damp cloth (the floor should be dry within 15 seconds).
Every two weeks use a laminate cleaning agent, rinse the mop thoroughly and afterwards wipe the floor  with a dry cloth.
Remove stains and spots from the laminate immediately. Rub the stains using a clean, dry cloth, moistened with a dedicated cleaning agent.
Repair dents and scratches using the Tarkett Repair Kit.

How to remove stains from the laminate?

Maintain the laminate by removing stains, spots, etc. as soon as they appear. Rub the stains using a clean, dry cloth, moistened with a dedicated cleaning agent. Never apply a cleaning agent directly onto the laminate flooring. When using a solution or an undiluted cleaning agent, read the instructions for use, as well as precautions carefully.

Fruit, milk, beer
Remove with an absorbent dry cloth. If the stain is dry, wipe it up by applying a suitable cleaner on it (the ideal choice is Tarkett Bioclean1). Then wipe up and dry the area.

Rubber, plastic, marks from high-heeled shoes
Rub the mark with a dry cloth. Apply acetone if necessary, and when the surface dries, rub it vigorously with a coarse cloth.

Nail polish, shoe polish, paint, ink, lipstick
Remove with a cloth moistened with acetone, thinner or vinegar.

Blood
Wipe the stains up with a slightly moistened cloth. If the stain is dry, rub it vigorously using a coarse cloth.

Wax, chewing gum
Once they harden, these stains should be removed using blunt plastic scrapers.
