FOX AWAY café

The main goal of Fox Away was to design a coffee house with a clearly defined and remarkable identity – a café where everyone can stop for a short break, where coffee and a well selected book tempt you to come in and relax.

Its limited space was one of the challenges of the project, therefore it directed the design process towards multi-purpose space planning. The restriction imposed by the existing carpentry (no interventions were possible on it) was turned into an advantage by the harmonious integration of its colour into the new-born brand. The result is a coherent dialogue of materials, textures and nuances blended together in order to create the ultimate identity of Fox Away.

In the meantime, the name of the facility was changed to Kohi Coffe Shop.

What makes this project unique is the fluidity which defines the interior design. It implies visual continuity, which is made possible by the use of the same material, Tarkett vinyl collection – Acczent Platinium 100, on a few surfaces: the walls, benches, floor and bar. In this way, the visual boundaries between the elements disappear, which increases the impression of spaciousness.

Acczent Platinium is an innovative, extremely durable, compact vinyl flooring for commercial use. The thickness of the wear layer in this collection of heterogeneous vinyl is 1.02 mm, enabling the design to have depth and to remain extremely stable over time. The Acczent Platinium collection is treated with our Top Clean XP surface protection, which provides an exceptional durability and cost-effective maintenance. This collection is also available in an acoustic version of  Tapiflex Platinium collection, both being a part of a fully integrated solution consisting of wall coverings, wet room flooring and wall solutions, as well as the accompanying products. And all the products are 100% phthalate-free.
